My Place to Rant
This blog is the every day rantings of a 44 year old mad woman. Just kidding. It is my rantings, but I don't think I am mad...we have been in the Upper Peninsula now for 2-1/2 years and things are still great. Miss my family in Texas though. Love Ya'll!!

ANOTHER RIDE ON THE ROLLER COASTER
Mark and I joined Weight Watchers At Work program on the 11th of this month. So far we have done great. I have lost 22 lbs as of yesterday's weigh in and Mark has lost 12 lbs.
I have so much energy. I feel good and I am happy. Things that haven't been in a long time. I will be 44 next Friday. I feel better than I have in years. So, I guess that's all. Come back for updates.
P.S. No excuse not to go to meetings...they are 3 feet away from Mark's office!!!
Bye!

Woldt Hall
Jeremy's tiny little bed. I made it up for him before we left.
Another shot of the little bed.
Front of Woldt Hall.
I guess I should be comforted to know that his bathroom is atornado shelter.
The living room of his dorm.
The sign. Mark was an RA in Emmons when he was in college. Jeremy's is Woldt.
Their phone in the living room. I'm sure it will get a work-out.
His name was already on the door. Made him feel better.

Central Michigan University
This is Jeremy's home for the next 2 or 3 years.
The main hall, Warriner. This is where the administration is.

Happy 2007!!!

I made it to midnight. We had a glass of sparkling red wine and toasted to 2007, I kissed Mark, Jeremy and Heidi and went to bed. My wish for my family in 2007 is health, happiness and prosperity. My wish for my country is peace in 2007. I pray that we can end the war and bring our troops home. Yes, I support the troops and the President, but I think it is time. I don't know what else we can do over there.
I quit making New Years Resolutions because I always break them. Today I will be making the typical black-eyed peas and cabbage for New Years dinner. It must be a southern thing because Mark had never heard of eating them for New Years until we were married.
Please pray for my Jeremy. We will be taking him downstate to Central Michigan University on Thursday and his classes will start on Monday. He is a bit nervous. So am I. I know that he will do good. Say a little prayer.
My wish for you is health and happiness in 2007!
Love,
Robbyn
