My darling daughter. She hasn't been feeling too well. Sore for some reason, but she is much better the last couple of days. We think she bruised her side some how. Anyway...isn't she beautiful? Posted by Picasa

Isn't he handsome? You know how I get him to laugh? Since he was a toddler, all I had to do is sing "Just what makes that little ol' ant" (by the time I get here he is already smiling so I don't have to continue).  Posted by Picasa

Jeremy's bandages. Ouch!!! Read story below. Posted by Picasa

Jeremy's Toes

Jeremy has had both of his big toes operated on today. He had severe ingrown toenails. It was nasty. Anyway, today he had outpatient surgery to get rid of them. The doctor cut half his toenails off on both feet. Now he is hobbling around with these two gigantic toes. (see pictures) Anyway, so I am taking care of my baby today. He had a terrible infection. They had to x-ray his toes to see how bad it was. He got some major antibiotics to take. Anyway, he is yelling for ice cream so I guess I need to go.

Everything Back To Normal

Well, Mom and Dad made it home on Sunday. I think they were really glad to get there. Their grass was knee high due to all of the rains they have had. I enjoyed them being here so much and wish it could have been longer.

I told Mark that we are going to make a yearly thing of us going to Texas. We will go in March and stay for a week. Then it will be nice and cool, NOT COLD, but cool there and we would get out of the ice and snow for a week. It will be perfect.

That way I can see them once a year. I worry about being so far away. If something was to happen to one of them it would be a quick trip. We could make it in 24 hours if we had to.

Anyway, it rained hard here the other night and water got in the basement. Never since we have lived here has water got in when it rained. Not until Jeremy moved his stuff in the basement.

Speaking of Jeremy, he may have a job already. He will find out soon. He is still putting in other applications though. He is on his way to the doctor right now. He has some nasty infections in his big toes. He went to get in his car and was reaching for something and a mouse ran out!!! In his car!!! I guess it is from all the stuff he brought from Mom and Dad's. He had stored his stuff in their barn. What's funny is it rode all the way up here with Dad and Jeremy from Texas. Wonder if it feels out of place? Oh, he took my car to the doctor.

Anyway, good thing I didn't see it. I would have probably died.

Oh well. Nice talking!!! See ya!

Great Day for Swimming and Fishing!!

We had the best time swimming yesterday and Mark started fishing and then everyone wanted to fish. Shawn caught 13 and I caught I don't know how many by the time I stopped. Everyone was catching them. Poor Dad was the cleaner. Now they are in my sink getting ready to be fried up!!

Me and Jeremy swam way out to the middle of the lake and while we were out there a fish bit me. I know...I'm crazy...but this fish bit me!!! It didn't leave a mark. So, since it was getting late, I decided it was time to get out. Then a biting fly bit me and it looked like a vampire bite. I am so glad Jeremy is here now. He will go swimming with me. I don't like to be out there by myself. Even if Mark is on the shore watching.

We have created a monster. Heidi the fisherdog. We had fish on the stringer and she was having a blast. This is the dog who hates the water. She was going under and trying to catch the fish. Yesterday she swam all the way around the pier trying to get to them. This morning when we were down there she was swimming out to try to catch them. It was the funniest thing.

I think everyone has had a good time although we really haven't done anything but fish and swim. IT's been great just having them here. I miss my mom so much when we are apart, even though we talk on the phone alot.

So, it's been a blast. They are leaving early early in the morning to head back. Anyway, enjoy the pictures below. They are great!!

This is in the wrong spot but mom is watching the fish. The water is so clear you can see the fish. Posted by Picasa
