LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY BABY...

The baby I am talking about is my Parakeet "Baby". He is about to drive me crazy!!! You know on the cage there are two little doors where the food and water go. Well, I only have the food in one. The other I don't use because he has a bottle that attatches to the side of the cage. Well, he figured out that while he is standing on the food bowl perch he can lift the door of the food. So, he lifts it and drops it about a HUNDRED TIMES AN HOUR!!!! You hear clunk...clunk....clunk...clunk...it was driving me crazy so we got a clothes pin and put it on there and now no more clunk, clunk, clunk...or so I thought. So I am sitting in the recliner the other day watching TV and low and behold I heard clunk...clunk...clunk...he is standing on his head, hooked on the the side of the cage doing the other door. Oh no SIR!!! So, now they both have clothespins on them and I am waiting to see how long it takes him to figure out about the big door. Oh well...see ya!!

P.S. Say a prayer for my dear brother Rick.

Bye!!!

Philly

Mark is having a great time. He is all registered now for his conference and the fun starts tonight. Anyway, while he had time off today he went and toured Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. He said you could just feel history. I would have loved to have gone on this trip with him. Oh well..money wasn't there. He rode in the subway to get back and he said it was smelly and nasty. Better than walking I suppose!

Enjoy the pics...more to come.

PHILADELPHIA, PA

Mark is in Philly as we speak at a conference. He will be back on Saturday. I hate it when he is gone but it gives me and Jeremy some needed time. Mark's flight out of Iron Mountain this morning was 5:55 a.m. I woke up with him at 4:00 and I asked him if he wanted me to go downstairs with him and see him off. He said no, because I haven't been feeling well, I needed my sleep and so he kissed and hugged me and he was off. Then I dreamed the whole time that he missed his flight.

He will be e-mailing pictures and I will be putting the ones I like on here.

Jeremy is doing great in school. His house should sell soon if the people that we are talking to buy it. PLEASE PRAY!!! That is his college tuition. He needs it by January. That is when he will be transferring to CMU or NMU. He wants to go to Columbia in Chicago. (Not the Ivy league Columbia) This Columbia, I believe is more like an art school. I don't know why. He said that it has his graphics programs that he wants to take. I would prefer he went to CMU or NMU. He has friends at Columbia and NMU so we'll see. I guess it's as to which one he can get accepted at.

That's all. Love ya! P.S. Guess my Astros are out of it this year. Oh well...there's always next year. Got to get back to my rat killin'.

We went downstate to see Mark's mom for Labor Day. We had a good time. It is always good to get back home though. It's an 8 hour drive and quite tiring. Anyway, enjoy the pics. Some are silly, but hey, that's us!

Take care!
