Ouch...or Clumsy Me...

Mark and I got up this morning and went to Wal-mart and I got my fishing license, a tackle box and some worms. I have been waiting for the ice to melt and it has been the most georgeous day today. Then we stopped at the grocery store and as we were leaving, a van drove by and honked and waved at Mark and I was asking him if he knew who that was and I stepped off the sidewalk and face-planted. Graceful heh? Anyway, I knew immediately that I had hurt my left foot but I just thought it was the fall, and I twisted it. So, Mark kept saying, if I wanted to go to the emergency room we would. I told him I'm sure it was fine and it will be ok. Well, we got home, I got sat down and put it up, outside. Fixed the rods to get ready to go fishing and tried to walk down to the lake and it hurt so bad I thought I was going to scream. So, I told Mark that we needed to go ahead and go. (2 hours later) So, we went to the emergency room, they x-rayed it and it isn't broken, although it hurts more than my elbows did when I broke them. It's a bad sprain. I can't walk on it at all. It hurts so bad. I have pain pills but they don't do much. They wrapped it with an Ace bandage and sent me along my way. I need a wheel chair!! I have no balance as it is. So, me and crutches are a funny, funny thing. My arms are killing me now. I am using muscles that I didn't know I have. I HATE CRUTCHES!!!

Ok, that's it. I guess. I am hurting. At one point it was throbbing and I was crying. It's a little better now. Problem, I have to get up during the night to go to the bathroom and it really hurts. Oh well...it will be an interesting night.

See ya!

My Baby Isn't A Teenager Any Longer!!

Jeremy turned 20 on Friday, the 14th. It's hard for me to believe that my little darling is a 20 year old. It seems like yesterday we were on our way to the hospital to have him. All 9 lbs. 13 oz. of him!!!! He has brought such joy to me and the whole family. For his birthday we took him to a casino for his first time and he had a blast. Didn't come home with winnings, but won enough to make it fun and then lost it again. Oh well...it was fun and he had a blast.
