Tomorrow...

Tomorrow we will leave to go to Mackinaw City. Then Friday we will go to Iron Mountain. Actually Norway. Anyway, then we will be home for at least 60 days. Hopefully, if the house sells, then we will be there shorter!!

The cat is just about ready to kill us. Just about the time she gets used to a place ie. Mark's moms, we pack her up again. She only has to put up with it for another day and then she will be a happy girl.

I guess I'll go.

Weeeeeeee'rrrrrrrrr Heeeeeeeerrrrrrr

We made it to Mark's moms about 11:30/12:30 eastern...I led the way for most of the way. He said he wanted to watch me in case I started drifting. I never did, but it was really tiring. I saw a deer on the side of the freeway and it scared me. Not as bad though as when I blew by the state trooper. That's when I told Mark I am doing the speed limit. If you want to go faster, I have a map to your moms!!! I just can't handle the pressure!!! So, when we crossed over the Michigan border I was glad and sad. Sad because I have left my home of 41 years (-6 when I was a kid in Oklahoma) and glad because, #1, we had finally made it. #2 this is our new home state now. Don't worry, I will always and forever be a Texan. Just transplanted to Yankee land. To all of my family in Texas...I love you all and I already miss you, but I DO NOT MISS THE HEAT!! It's chilly here!!! Love to all....

The Countdown Begins....

7......Sunday, Mark works, Robbyn does the mountains of laundry left. Packs clothes, suitcases, etc. Mark is laughing because I have one suitcase just for shoes. I didn't think that it was too bad. It's a small one.

6.....Monday, we both have to work, I don't know how much we will get done though. The real estate lady will come Monday night and put the lock box on the door and put the sign in the yard. We will keep going through stuff and trashing or packing to take with us or leaving it on a shelf for the movers to pack.\

5....Tuesday, we both work again, Tuesday night is the night we are going to J & K for our final sushi. Jessica says she has something for me. I can't wait. We are giving her two ties. Cleaning out food and pantry.

4...Wednesday, Mark is off, movers arrive to pack up the house. They will leave our bed, pack the rest.

3...Thursday....We are both off...packers will load everything into the truck and we will leave to go to mom's.

2...Friday spending the day with my family, trying not to completely lose it before we go on our big adventure.

1...Saturday continue spending time with my family, Jeremy comes up today.

Blast off...This is it....the big move!!! Here we go!!! Next stop? St. Louis, MO.

Wish us luck!!!

Garage Sale.....History

Of course we didn't do as good on the garage sale as I thought we would but we still did decent. It was all a blessing anyway. I have a great story. This woman came up and wanted to buy our swing. So, we told her that someone else had said they wanted it but they hadn't come back and it had been a while so if they didn't get it we would call them. So, she started going through the clothes. Her husband is a big guy so she went and got him and he went through all the clothes and picked out most of them. He was also going through the 10 cent box and saw an accompanyment tape that I used to sing to at church and he asked who the singer was. I told him I used to be. So, come to find out, he is the music minister for the First Baptist Church of North Houston. So, we got to talking and he wanted to know how much for the tapes? I told him the God said to give them to him. Oh, they also had a little boy named Gabriel. Cute as he could be. Anyway, so, they got the clothes and some other stuff all for about 35.00. THey kept saying what a blessing it was to get all of these clothes. I was so glad. God is so wonderful. He sends people to you in some of the strangest ways. It was truly a good thing. I felt so good afterwards.

Ok...that's all for now. I have so much work to do. Later!

We're going to Norway..................Michigan

We finally found a place to stay for our short term housing. It is in Norway, Michigan. It is a ski resort that is closed for the season, but they rent the condos. We will get a two bedroom condo (sleeps 6) with a full kitchen and 1 full bath and two half baths. A deck that you can ski off of, not that there will be any snow yet, but in November there will be. Anyway, we have it up to November 25 if we need it that long. I hope we won't.

We told the real estate lady today that she got the job. She will be here Saturday with the papers and the lock box and the sign for the yard.

I am putting pictures on here of the condo...enjoy!!!

Decisions Decisions Decisions

I am already tired of the whole real estate thing. I was not happy with the girl tonight. She seemed to be a newby. She wasn't nearly as professional as the lady last night.

We will probably go with the one last night. We will definately go with the one last night.

Mark has to call them tomorrow and tell them who we want.

Ok... that's it.

Bye!!!
