Another Thanksgiving Done

Well, Thanksgiving of 2005 is now history. Now on to Christmas. We spent Thanksgiving down-state at Mark's moms. All of his siblings except his sister Sue and her family was there. We met them out the next day in the madhouse shopping. If anyone knows me well, they know that I hate to shop. I don't like crowds and NOTHING is so cheap that I will get out at 5:00 a.m. to buy something. I would rather pay the extra. Anyway, we had a nice dinner. I made the dressing, southern style and I think most people liked it. I know Mark's brother-in-law Steve liked it. He went back 4 times. We had a ham and turkey which was great because I love ham and just like turkey. We had a pumpkin pie and apple pie that his mom made and Mark made a pecan pie, under my instruction and it was SOOOO good. I made a lemon pie for Mark. So here are some pictures. Enjoy. Happy Thanksgiving and on to Christmas!!! Next year Thanksgiving will be in Texas with my family.

More Snow

We got about 10 inches. It is in the 20's right now and the snow is blowing more tonight. The other snow was really wet. Jeremy was making a snowface today when we got back from the store. We were without power from 3:30 a.m. to about 4:00 p.m. today.

You can barely see Jeremy's car. I'm sure the hunters are enjoying it because it is good for tracking.

Let It Snow, Let it snow, Let it snow...

These are pictures from the snow storm we had.

Enjoy them. IT is cold here tonight. It is supposed to be in single digits tonight with -0 wind chills. WInter is here.

This was taken at 2:00 P.M. this afternoon. Snow started about 5:00. We are under a Winter Storm warning. Oh, and it's the first day of deer season and the schools were closed today for Deer Day. Posted by Picasa

The first snow of the year. This is the same shot (But in the dark) of the first picture. It has snowed about an inch or maybe two. Guess what...we hadn't taken the lawn furniture in. We will do it this weekend. This will all melt next week anyway when it gets above freezing. There will be plenty more.  Posted by Picasa
