I FORGOT!!

I forgot to tell you that I have a new wild animal to add to my list!!! I saw a coyote over the weekend. I was so excited. (Doesn't take much!) Then, today I saw a northern pike fish and a few other different kinds of fish. The water in the lake is so clear that you can see right to the bottom. Only problem is there is moss at our end of it and it drives me crazy. When I real in my line I bring half of the moss from the lake in. I figure that by the middle of summer I will have the lake cleaned out. Oh, by the way...the fish love me feeding them. No, I haven't caught any. We got a few good hits but nothing landed. (Could be our technique)

Anyway, it has been glorious the last two or three days. It's not suppose to rain until Saturday I think. It is 78 now. Fluffy puffs of clouds and blue sky!!!

Glorious!!!

Memorial Day

We went to the VA today. They had a Memorial Day ceremony. Mark organized it and wrote the speeches and everything. It was great. The sun was shining, the wind was lightly blowing the flags. You could not have asked for better weather. At 3:00 today, Memorial Day, please take a minute to remember those who have died to make us free and for the ones still defending our country. God Bless America!!
