It's Going Great...
Usually on my blog I am reporting about the day's events. Snow, animals, etc. Today I am looking outside and once again the snow has melted. The sun is shining brightly and I sit here and think how lucky I am. I have a wonderful husband, the best son a mom could ask for. I have two parents that love me unconditionally and me them. I have an adopted mother, Hedy who is fighting for her life but is still cheerful every time you talk to her. I have a mother-in-law that I love. I have one brother who is going through troubles right now, but my heart is with him and his family. I have another brother who...well, what can you say about him...Greg is unique. I think I might miss him the most because when we left, he was mad at me and I didn't get to hug him goodbye. Of course now we have talked and things are ok. I have the most precious sister I could ever want. She is my best friend. Someone who I can gripe with, laugh with, share problems with. I have great sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law. My neices and nephews are the greatest in the world. OH and a beautiful great nephew. I am truly blessed with the love of family. Since I am so far away from my family, the holidays are a bit rough. The best thing is that I have unlimited long distance! I can pick up the phone any time and talk to any of them. Jeremy will be here for Christmas so I will have a great Christmas with him and Mark.
We will be going to Texas in the first part of June to get Jeremy to move him up here. We plan on taking 2 weeks so we can visit with family and friends.
The thing that I am the most greatful for is my salvation. Christmas and Easter seem to be, in these days holidays for the candy and toy companies to make their profits. Christmas is so commercialized. People have chosen to forget the reason that we celebrate Christmas and Easter. Jesus was born on a cold night in Bethlehem in the worst conditions. Jesus was born to die for our sins. He died on Friday and rose again on Sunday, which is why we celebrate Easter. Candy canes, snowmen, Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, Easter eggs, CANDY, all of these are just the worldy part of these holidays. Let's bring back the true meaning of Christmas and Easter. Let's celebrate it in our hearts every day and thank God for sending His son.
I hope that you and yours have the happiest of holidays and a very happy 2005.
Robbyn
