Just Another Day...

I thought today would be a no blog day because there wasn't anything really to report...but....

Sunday Mark and I drove around the area before church and saw a house for rent in Kingsford. (Kingsford/Iron Mountain is like Richmond/Rosenberg) I told Mark I wanted to call on it because, for one reason I liked it. For another reason it is on Osage Street. Many fond memories of my grandparents were when they lived on Osage Street in Hugo, OK. So, Sunday afternoon we decided to go find it again and look again. We couldn't find it!! It was like it was never there!!!

Mark didn't want to start calling on houses yet. He says it's too soon. He was talking to his sister Sue last night and she said it wasn't and that we need to start looking to see what is out there.

So, today I headed in to Iron Mountain to take Mark his badge and beeper that he forgot at home and I decided to try and find it again. I couldn't and I had to go to the little girls room so I decided to give up the search and go to the VA. When Mark finally decided to come back to his office we had lunch and he asked his assistant Donna if she new where Osage St. was. She said "Kingsford Heights". Just like that. So, we got the map and found the street and I went and found the house. I had been in the area the whole time but the streets are...as Donna says Caddywampus and run every direction.

So, this afternoon when Mark got home, after we ate I told him I wanted to go show him how easy it was to find this place. So we went in to Iron Mountain/Kingsford and found the house. Well, lo and behold when we drove by it there were 4 deer in the backyard. Now mind you this is in a pretty much populated area. There are wooded patches but I would never have thought that they would be there. Actually the back of the house is a little wooded area. So, I thought is was so neat to see these deer in the backyard. We watched them. All four crossed the road and Mark grabbed the camera and attempted to take a picture. Well, I am the one that takes the pictures so needless to say, we didn't get a picture of them.

I guess that's all that I have to report. Thanks to my loving sister-in-law Sue, she sent me the New Michigander Diary. I'm sure everyone has read it at least once. It is where the guy is so happy to live in Michigan and it's beautiful and well, just about everything that I have written about it. Then it starts to snow and snow and snow and snow and...well, you get the idea and he decides he doesn't love it quite as much. I guess we will see if it will be me. I hope not.

That's it! Goodnight!
